#WINDOWS PASSWORD SECURITY MANAGEMENT:

   HAVE YOU EVER WONDER ABOUT THAT YOUR WINDOWS PASSWORD CAN EASILY BE STEAL BY THE COMPUTER HACKERS AND CRIMINALS.

   

•    Normal computer user set one password to their computer which is USER password.
•    Which is mention in following picture.But do you know this password can easily be steal     or hack by the computer hacker.
•     Following are some tips and techniques to making your windows machine safe and             secure.

TIP NO 1:

    Normally hackers use guessing technique to find out your passwords.Means they tries to get your name,pet name,birth date,family members name,girl/boy friend which are suppose to use by many computer users as their login password,which is not secure.

  So,always put your password as a combination of different words,letters,numbers,special characters so hackers can not be able to guess your password. 

   Hackers use same technique for cracking the password by the technique of BRUTE-FORCE.

    

                                                                 

                                             TIP NO 2:

    Windows provide security options called BIOS PASSWORD to get login into the machine.

    To set this password RESTART your machine and press escape key(esc) different as per manufacture of machine. After that you will get following type of screen.

Using that set your password.BIOS password also called as power on password.

NOTE:This password also be removed by jumper setting in the hardware of your machine.

TIP NO 3:

    Windows provide another password protection called SYSKEY PASSWORD.

    Usually your user password is stored in SAM file in config folder which is located at                              C:/windows/system32/  location. This SAM  file contains your password in MD5 encryption 

       which is easily be crackable by the hacker.

   Syskey password is basically encrypt user password by 128-bit RC4 encryption which is not                  hacked by the hacker.

  Syskey password is in bellow image.

    To set the syskey password go and open your Command Promt . And set the syskey password by click on Encryption Enable and Update options.And restart your machine.

    Now you successfully set your SYSKEY password.

                                             TIP NO 4:

    Windows provide online password management system.For use that facility create and open      windows outlook free account.And connect your PC/LAPTOP user account to Outlook mail  account.So that you can able to change or update your password.

 TIP: Outlook mail password and windows user login password remains same by default if you are  connected.
